What is Pultrusion Technology?

Pultrusion is a continuous manufacturing process used to produce all types of reinforced profiles. In this process, fibers such as glass or carbon are impregnated with resin by passing through an immersion bath. Subsequently, they are pulled through a heated die that shapes the profile and promotes the polymerization or curing process.

The profile is pulled at a constant speed by a machine positioned after the die, enabling continuous production. The finished product is then cut according to specific project requirements.

Technical Advantages of the Pultrusion Technique

  • Exceptional Strength: This technique enables the production of complex profiles, either hollow or solid, with high mechanical strength, making them widely used in industrial applications.
  • Durability: The product manufactured using this technique, thanks to the high content of inert fibers, are characterized by high durability.
