The HDT (Heat Deflection Temperature) test is used to evaluate the resistance of a resin and/or composite material sample under the application of a constant load, using a three-point bending system, while immersed in a heated liquid. The value obtained from this test is crucial for defining the possible applications of the product.
In this way, the sample can be tested according to the ISO 75 standard.
