Chemical anchoring is a method that allows various types of supports to be fixed using a specific adhesive system. Chemical anchors must ensure high adhesion performance within minutes after application on the substrate.
The system generally consists of two components: a cartridge containing the resin and one containing the catalyst. During application, these are mixed and expelled through a specific nozzle directly into the hole where the dowel will be inserted.
Chemical anchoring is appreciated for its speed and ease of use, as the two-component system does not require special expertise to be used and allows for quickly achieving the desired result.
