UP 028
Description
Poliplast UP 028 is an unsaturated orthophthalic polyester resin modified with dicyclopentadiene, dissolved in styrene, and of medium viscosity. This resin offers excellent adhesive properties on a wide range of materials, including natural stones, ceramics, cement, wood, PMMA, ABS, PC, PVC, polyurethanes, synthetic marble, and GFRP.
Poliplast UP 028 can be mixed with other polyester resins to enhance its adhesive properties. For example, it is used in the co-formulation of resins for the production of fillers and putties. It is also widely used in the production of abrasives, thanks to its adhesion to plastic bases for the preparation of 5-Extra abrasives or to modify the mechanical behavior of other resins.
