R 25 B10 FLEX
Description
Poliplast R 25 B10 FLEX is an unsaturated DCPD polyester resin with a unique chemical structure, diluted in styrene monomer. This highly reactive resin, once properly cured, becomes hard yet not brittle, exhibiting excellent mechanical properties and chemical resistance. A significant portion of its raw materials is derived from renewable sources.
Poliplast R 25 B10 FLEX is designed for producing quartz composites using oven-press applications, such as BRETON® technology. The resin demonstrates excellent wetting properties when mixed with fillers like quartz and silica sand. However, the incorporation of larger materials like glass, metal shards, crystals, and chips should be tested before use.
This resin enables the creation of rigid, flat slabs of various sizes and thicknesses, which possess good thermo-mechanical properties, abrasion resistance, and shock resistance.
