R 96.20 REL
Description
Poliplast R 96.20 REL is an unsaturated DCPD/orthophthalic polyester resin dissolved in styrene. The resin has a reduced monomer content, is pre-accelerated and thixotropic.
Poliplast R 96.20 REL shows good reactivity and in the cured state is tough but not fragile.
Poliplast R 96.20 REL can be used in general GRFP applications, both with automatic and manual application.
However, the resin was developed focusing mainly on pipe relining application with warm and hot curing techniques. It is therefore used in those systems where underground pipes must be repaired without any need to dig and replace the old ones (“no-dig”, “trenchless system”, “cured in place pipe”).
