Description
Poliplast R 14 is an unsaturated polyester resin, diluted in styrene, that is neither pre-accelerated nor thixotropic. This resin is flexible and elastic.
This resin is considered a biopolyester because it incorporates a significant amount of raw materials from renewable sources. The elasticity of objects made with this resin remains consistent over time.
Poliplast R 14 can be co-formulated with other Poliplast resins to create wood putties that exhibit low shrinkage after curing. It can also be combined with paraffinic additives.
This resin is ideal for producing flexible flooring and tiles, offering a viable alternative to PVC and linoleum. Poliplast R 14 boasts excellent mechanical and chemical properties, making it resistant to water, surfactants, and oils. It also outperforms linoleum in terms of tear and abrasion resistance.
