We would like to reassure you that recent developments didn't take any toll on our regular capacity in producing and delivering products to your doorstep. The temporary slow-down of a handful of customers (e.g. tourism-related ones) actually reduced the lead time for you, thanks to a simpler production mix!
This week's country-wide limitations imposed by the Italian government mainly concern non-grocery and pharma shops and individuals' freedom of movement outside their daily commute to work, while preserving industrial companies inbound and outbound logistics.
We adopted all new official obligations and went the extra mile in taking the following precautions aimed at preserving our operations in worst case scenarios:
- Counting on your understanding, we converted all company visits and in-person meetings to video conferences, and we're getting good at it!
- We ask all external people (e.g. suppliers):
- to hygienize their hands with our abundantly self-produced 🧪🤓 sanitizer gel
- to fill a quick health-related form including strict behaviour rules to be adopted at our premises
- to wear a facial mask before entering the company gates
- to deal with necessary paperwork, that couldn't be already processed electronically in advance, with our field operators instead of stepping into the company main offices
- Our drivers will be provided with hands sanitizer and facial masks to be used at your premises
- We issued equivalent recommendations to all 3rd party delivery services we use!
- We reviewed our internal layout (e.g. converting meeting rooms into extra office space) to avoid people working close to each other and protect team members with higher health risk factors
- We powered larger home-office initiatives
- We organised mutually exclusive shifts for the Quality Control team (on top of the Production ones)
- We keep all functional teams separate
